Another fatality on local highways this long weekend.

Monday afternoon, Turner Valley RCMP responded to a crash involving a motorcycle south of highway 22.

Constable Warren Klug explains what happened...

"Three young males were northbound on highway 762 and the lead driver lost control of his motorcycle while rounding a curve and just entered the right side ditch.  He took out quite a bit of barbed wire fence about 100 feet and sustained some serious injuries and subsequently died of those injuries"

Klug says speed was definately a factor.

The name of the deceased has not been released.
