Day 3 of the Battle of the North went last night with drivers hitting the track in Dawson Creek, British Columbia and Chad Harden posted the best time of 1:13.86.

Harden came in 36 one-hundredths of a second ahead of Rick Fraser.

Chanse Vigen, Layne MacGillivray and John Walters made out the top five times on the night.

Day 3 overall aggregate standings saw Okotoks Mark Sutherland in 14th spot and High Rivers Jordie Fike in 9th and Jason Glass in a distant 34th respectively.

The top 4 drivers in the aggregate after today's run will go into the winner-take-all championship final heat where the winner will take home a big cheque, and be crowned the 2016 Battle of the North Champion.

Night 4 of racing goes tonight at 7:30pm.
