The Okotoks Dawgs dropped their second in a row to the Regina Red Sox Sunday at Seaman Stadium, this time by a 6-2 score.

Manager Tyler Graham says injuries aren't helping the Dawgs right now.

"You've got to get through the tough times as well as the good ones. But having (Pitcher, Anthony) Balderas gone for four days and having (Pitcher, Christian) Parsons out, trying to get healthy. It's tough. Tough having those two guys out. But, we've got to come back tomorrow (Monday) and battle and we'll be fine."

The Red Sox kept the Dawgs hitters stymied all day, allowing just six hits.

Blake Rowlett and Brendan Rose led the team at the plate with two hits each

Kellen Marruffo and Michael Gretler drove the Dawgs two runs.

Ian Scott  got his third start of the year.

Even though he pitched six full innings, he got the no decision, allowing five hits, two runs, two earned runs, four walks and four strike outs.

Brendan Kawaja got tagged with the loss, letting two runs score.

He finished with two runs, two earned runs and he walked two runners before being replaced by Taylor Davis.

Davis would pitch 2.2 innings, giving up six hits, two runs, one earned run, four walks with four strike outs.

The Dawgs open a two game series against the Melville Millionaires Monday night starting at 7:05 at Seaman Stadium.
