With the Okotoks Dawgs' June 1st season opener fast approaching, the team continues to fill its final roster spots, signing a big first baseman in Ross Barker.

Barker, who stands at a whopping 6'5", hails from Windsor, Ontario and is currently a sophomore with the Division I Western Texas College Westerners.

He's been a star player for the club this year, hitting .290 with 10 doubles, 38 RBI's and four home runs.

With his huge frame, Barker offers a large target at first base for the infielders and outfielders to throw to.

The WMBL season is less than two months away, and now the Dawgs have just a few spots left to fill on the team.
