Despite the afternoon rains in Strathmore, the track conditions were still perfect for night two, in the Strathmore WPCA chuckwagon races on August 4 2018.

The days best time goes to Mike Vigens outfit, coming in first place at 1:15.69, driven by Mitch Sutherland who was covering for Vigen for the night due to his injuries.

Competition for the top is fierce however, as 2018 Calgary Stampede Champion Kurt Bensmiller only a few paces behind finishing in second.

Last nights time, places him first in the overall aggregate.

Gary Gorst, defending Strathmore Stampede Champion finishes in third last night, and sits second in the overall aggregate.

Tough night for Okotoks Mark Sutherland, who finished in 27th, Jason Glass didn't fare much better, who finishes in 22nd.

High Rivers Jordie Fike had a solid run last night, placing in 13th, which gives him spot 7 in the overall aggregate.

Dayton Sutherland, who tied Jordie Fikes time for the night currently sits in 13th in the aggregate.

Night 3 of the Strathmore Stampede kicks off tonight on August 5 2018, at 9pm.
