Former Okotoks Oiler, Dylan Holloway is making a name for himself with the Edmonton Oilers.

The rookie, who was drafted 14th overall by Edmonton in 2020, netted a hat trick and added a helper in their 7-2 victory over the Vancouver Canucks on Monday night.

It sure helped playing center on a line with Leon Draisaitl and Zach Hyman.

Holloway is leading the Oilers with points in the pre-season as he has 4 goals and 2 assists in 4 games with the NHL club.

Final cuts have still to be made and with only two exhibition games remaining his chances are looking good at making the team.

The Edmonton Oilers regular season gets underway on Wednesday Oct 12 as they host Vancouver.
