The Foothills Falcons wrap up the Big Rock Football League regular season Thursday as they take on the defending champion Rundle College Cobras.

The Falcons are 7-and-0 on the season, and despite that, it's the Cobras who Falcons Coach Darren Olson says, are the team to beat.

"There's no doubt that right now they're the kings, and they're going to stay the kings until somebody beats them. And so it's going to be a huge game for us going in there."

Olson says the Cobras are a fast team, who get faster on the artificial turf of their home field.

"We saw them play when they played at Holy Trinity Academy a couple of weeks ago, and that was a real close game. But when they get on the field turf at their home field it's definitely an advantage to them. And so we've got to be aware of that and we've got practice against that kind of thing and make sure out defence is ready to defend against the run."

The other game has the Holy Trinity Academy Knights in High River to battle the Mustangs.

That game goes at 5 o'clock Thursday afternoon at Mustangs Field.
