Five Bisons will be heading off to Medicine Hat for the Heritage Junior B Hockey League's All-Star Game joining the South All-Stars.

Included in the Bisons representatives are Defenseman Kale Hawryluk and Mitch Wolfe, also making the trip is Forward Tyson Scott.

Scott leads the league in points and goals and also leads his teams in the same categories.

Traveling with Scott is his linemate, Tyler Alger, Scott says him and Alger's friendly rivalry in the dressing room is great for the team.

"Me and Alger are super tight in the locker room and on the ice, our other linemate Tyler Witzke we're super close with him as well, we joke around and tussle about who's number one all the time but at the end of the day it doesn't matter, it's about helping create team success, the All-Star weekend is about showing off your own strengths so I'm excited to be a part of it."

Also traveling to Medicine Hat is Defenseman Hayden Hale and Forward Dylan Wenzel who will be participating in the Top Prospects game during the weekend.

Scott says the weekend is lots of fun because you get to play alongside some of the players you'd usually be battling against.

"It'll be a lot of fun because you get to play with some of the guys that you're normally playing against... I'm just really excited because it's such a unique experience that only happens once a year, for me personally it's only the second time it's happened in my career, I'm really looking forward to it and I'm open-minded to see what the weekend brings."

Joining the HJHL's South squad is Bisons goaltender Devin Reagan.

"To see how he's developed as a player, especially his puck handling in and behind the net it's like having a third defenseman back there, we always feel confident with Devin... You're never scared on a 2 on 1 against or even a breakaway, he's always there to bail you out, very seldom does he let in a bad goal, he's a great guy in the locker room and would definitely be wearing a letter if goalies could in this league."

Also joining the Bisons reps are a few Flyers including Flyers forward Michael McTighe and Defenseman Liam Thiessen.
