Fans of Heartland have a chance to be a part of the show.

The long-running CBC show has brought back their Fan Extras Day.

On a few occasions during the filming of previous seasons, the show’s production has called upon fans in the Calgary area to participate directly in the filming.

They’re in the middle of filming the show’s 18th season and are again inviting fans to participate in “the biggest, most exciting” Fan Extras Day yet, which will require hundreds of extras.

Hundreds of extras are needed for a rodeo competition scene, with extras asked to dress as they would for the Calgary Stampede.

The event will take place on July 15 at a location that has yet to be dislocated, but it is described as being within an hour’s drive of downtown Calgary.

Those interested are asked to submit an RSVP for each individual.

The form notes that not everyone who RSVP doesn’t guarantee a spot, and that confirmation emails will be sent to those who are accepted by July 9.

The RSVP form can be seen here.
