They were handing out the awards at the Provincial High School Rodeo Finals on the weekend in Stettler.

Arrowwood's own Beau Gardner won the bull riding title.

It's been a busy time for the 17-year-old from County Central High School in Vulcan between final exams, bull riding and graduation, which comes up Thursday.

He's excited for grad after "12 long years of hard work".

Gardner says he's hoping to ride bulls professionally some day.

A couple of local ladies also won provincial titles on the weekend.

Kasha Borsy won in barrel racing while the provincial goat tying title went to Nanton's Faith Lundberg.

They'll head to Gillette Wyoming for the world finals in July.
