McHappy Day on May 10th brought in thousands of dollars not just for Calgary's Ronald McDonald Charity House but also for local food banks.

This year monies raised were split with the High River food bank at the Salvation Army as well as the Okotoks Food Bank.

And this year $18,705.45 was raised for our communities.

Every year on McHappy Day money is raised through a variety of ways including purchasing food, selling merchandise like socks, or donations.

McDonald's Canada has been supporting the Ronald McDonald House Charities for over 40 years.
