The Okotoks Oilers gave it their all but came up short, losing 7-5 to the Brooks Bandits in game one of their best of seven series Friday, March 29.

The Oilers pulled their goalie near the end of the third period but to no effect, as the Bandits final goal was on an empty net securing their win by two goals.
