It was likely a very long, very quiet bus ride back to Okotoks Sunday night for the Okotoks Oilers.

They left Friday with high hopes for their first northern road swing of the season, but return with their tails between their legs after dropping all three games.

Things started badly with a 5-1 loss to the Bobcats Friday night in Lloydminster, and went downhill from there.

They lost 4-3 in Sherwood Park Saturday and then 3-2 Sunday in Drayton Valley.

The Oilers will likely face a very tough week of practice before hosting the Drumheller Dragons Friday night.
